Buffalo-based technology driven materials company has two openings available in the Marketing dept:
Technical Marketing
The Product Marketing Manager is the business leader within Williams for the Compound Semiconductor (Wireless) and Photonic Markets. This person will be expected to understand the needs of these markets and guide Williams in product development and commercial offerings that will meet the market needs.
Essential functions of this role include:
- Author the annual Long Range Strategic Plan
- Understand your market(s) and each customer's place within that market
- Attend appropriate technical conferences
- Lead product development, launch and penetration processes
- Develop strategic presentations for key accounts
The candidate should have a good technical aptitude and a B.S. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineers (or equivalent program) or equivalent experience.
Marketing Specialist
Are you a creative thinker with solid analytical and organizational skills and project management experience? Williams is seeking a MarCom Specialist to lead various marketing initiatives such as CRM applications/ B2B web site, trade shows and other strategic marketing activities. Experience working with IT professionals, vendors, marketing management and internal customers is highly desired. SAP and Desktop publishing skills are a plus. Requires four-year degree in Marketing, Business or Communications, and two or more years of experience on the skills required above.
